Slipstream Classes: Term 1 2026
Updates for Term 1 2026 Classes
Registration Fee:
- This term we have introduced a registration fee to help cover ever increasing fixed costs. Each year our fixed costs, insurance in particular, increase at a growing rate. This fee is currently set at $15 per student and does not increase if the student attends more than one class. It will be charged per term to help spread the cost over the year.
Skills Classes for Young People:
- Kinder Circus, Tiny Tumblers, Junior Jumpers and Teen Tricksters: No changes, with classes offered at the same days and times.
- Beginner Aerials and Beginner Acro: No changes, with classes offered at the same days and times.
- Beginner Manipulation: Addition of another timeslot, so now there is the option for Tue or Thu classes.
- Hooping class has been absorbed into the Beginner Manipulation classes.
- Intermediate Aerials and Intermediate Acro: No changes, with classes offered at the same days and times.
- Intermediate Manipulation: This class has now been split into ‘Object Manipulation’ and ‘Balance Apparatus’, and is being offered on Mon and Wed before the other Intermediate Disciplines.
- Advanced Classes: These will be offered to select students in Intermediate Classes, based on passing skills assessments and pending appropriate trainers. More information coming soon for these.
Performance Classes for Young People:
- Trouplings has been added to the program, and is similar to the previous Proto Troupe class.
- Performance Troupe have two project opportunities: Contained and We Care
Classes for Adults:
- A foundation class for adults has been added back into the schedule with a new, fun name: Awkward Adults.
- Adult Beginner Aerials and Adult Beginner Acro: No changes, with classes offered at the same days and times.
- Adult Beginner Manipulation has now been added to the schedule on a Thu evening.
- Hooping class has been absorbed into the Adult Beginner Manipulation classes.
Open Training:
- The timing for Fri Open Training has been changed to 3:30pm-5pm

The following is our Discount Policy for students and families enrolled in multiple classes. Please note there are no discounts on Performance Troupe or single sessions.

Important: If you are enrolling more than one student in a family or have a student enrolling in more than one class, please ensure to follow the instructions below to ensure you are able to take advantage of discounting. Classes must be booked in the one transaction to enable the discounts to be automatically applied.
- Click the ‘Book Now’ button to take you to the registration portal.
- Click on the first class to be enrolled in, then when the window pops up, click the ‘+ Add Class’ button.
- If you wish to enrol in additional classes, click ‘+ Add more classes’, and repeat from step 2 and 3 until all required classes are selected. Please note if you are enrolling two or more students in a class, that class only needs to be selected once.
- Once all required classes are selected, click ‘Continue to enrollment’.
- Enter customer details (account owner / parent / guardian), then click ‘Next’. Please note Mobile 2 and Email 2 fields can be used if you have a second contact that would like to receive important updates.
- Enter student details, then click ‘Save’.
- If you have more than one student you are enrolling for, click ‘+ Add student’ then repeat step 6 until all students have been added, then click ‘Next’.
- On the next screen, you will see a drop-down box with the student’s name, and check boxes on the right hand side for the classes added earlier. Select the relevant class or classes for the selected student then click ‘+ Add classes’.
- Use the drop-down menu to switch to the next student and repeat step 8 to select the relevant classes, repeating for each student.
- Once classes for each student have been added, click ‘Next’.
- Review the details of the enrolment and make adjustments if required.
- Review and confirm agreements and select marketing preferences.
- Click ‘Submit all details’.
You will receive a registration email, however please note this does not mean you are automatically enrolled in a class. The registration will be reviewed by our team to ensure the classes are suitable for the students. Once accepted, you will receive an enrolment confirmation, followed by an invoice.

Slipstream does not provide trial classes.
New students are required to enrol before commencing class.
We understand that sometimes a new experience may not be what is expected.
If a new student wishes to withdraw after one class, please email to advise our office. The student will be withdrawn and the class fees will be credited.
The $15 registration fee will still be charged.

Circus for Young People:
2-7 Years
Summary
For young people aged 2-7 years, we have two offerings: Kinder Circus for those aged 2-5 years (along with their trusted adult), and Tiny Tumblers for those aged 4-7 years. Both classes work on a variety of skills in aerials, acrobatics, and manipulation.
Kinder Circus: 2-5 Years
Kinder Circus is a class for children aged 2-5 years, where they are accompanied by their trusted adult, who helps, guides, and joins in with the circus activities.
These classes are capped at 8 young people (plus their trusted adults).

Tiny Tumblers: 4-7 Years
Tiny Tumblers is for young people who can independently be involved in a circus class, enjoying a circus experience with skills in Aerials, Acro, and Manipulation.

Performance
Trouplings: 7-17 Years: By Application
Young people aged 7-17 years, enrolled in at least 1 beginner level class, are welcome to apply to join this class, which works on developing their performance knowledge, skills and experience, through the development of characters, acts, and shows, and the opportunity to be involved in a variety of performance opportunities.
Performance Troupe: 7-17 Years: By Application
Young people aged 7-17 years, enrolled in at least 2 intermediate level classes, are welcome to apply to join this class, which works on developing their performance knowledge, skills and experience, through the development of characters, acts, and shows, and the opportunity to be involved in a variety of performance opportunities.
Term 1 2026 has 2 shows, We Care and Contained, which are working towards a tour.
Circus for Adults:
18+ Years
Summary
For adults 18+, we have the Awkward Adults foundation class, along with specialty options of Beginner Aerials, Beginner Acro and Beginner Manipulation.
Also, all enrolled adults are welcome to join Open Training.
