Slipstream Circus classes and workshops are a unique way to build friendships, trust, confidence and fitness. Our classes provide fun and challenging activities for all ages and abilities. We’re also here to support your journey at Slipstream Circus, our trainers are here to encourage you to take that leap of faith and have some fun!

Payment Process

For payment towards Slipstream Circus classes an invoice will be issued directly after the completion of all enrolment details, payment for classes is expected within 14 days of the invoice date. For further information or enrolment into our next term please contact us via email [email protected] alternatively you can enrol via clicking on the classes in the timetable below.

Kinder classes invite parents/guardians to join the children, and to learn together through the fun of circus! The emphasis is on fun, with side effects including development of fine and gross motor skills, confidence, and social engagement.

Classes involve a range of activities such as games, tumbling, circus circuits, acro-balances between parent and child, and guided play through an array of circus skills.

Our Tiny Tumblers learn to try new things in a fun, supportive environment as they are introduced to all areas of circus. Students gain friendships, trust, responsibility, confidence and fitness through games, circus circuits, gymnastics, and physical challenges.

This is an Aerials specialty class, where participants will learn beginning aerial techniques. We suggest attending 1 term of general circus classes first, to ensure a good grasp of our procedures before venturing into a specialty.

Here you will learn all the different aerialistics; such as silks, aerial ring, trapeze, rope, net and straps.

Junior Jumpers classes are designed for beginners and those who have moved up from Tiny Tumblers. Students can expect games, gymnastics, physical challenges, circus circuits, specific skill development, and the chance to work creatively either individually or in groups.

All areas of circus above will be experienced each term. As students are encouraged to take positive risks in a fun, supportive environment, confidence in self and others will follow.

This class invites both beginners, and those who have progressed through Junior Jumpers to try all areas of circus in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Students can expect games, gymnastics, physical challenges, circus circuits, specific skills development, and the chance to work creatively either individually or in groups.

All skill levels are welcome! A class for adult circus enthusiasts with or without experience. ‘Not So Grown Ups’ will give participants a chance to meet like minded individuals and gain fitness and confidence whilst trying all categories of circus disciplines, including acrobatics, aerials, manipulation, performance and more. In each class free time allows for participants to work on their own circus goals under expert guidance.

Intermediate and Advanced classes

Circus Specialty allows existing students to focus on their favourite areas of circus.

Whether it’s advancing your aerials, tumbling or manipulation this class is designed to advance the skills of students with an existing skillset in these specialties.
 

This class is open to students wishing to focus on their specialty from another class.

Participants within the Intermediate Aerials class are assessed prior to being encouraged to join, this class focuses on refining skills learnt within Aerials for Beginners

Here you further your foundation skills in all the different aerialistics, such as: silks, aerial ring, trapeze, rope, net and straps.

Participants within the Advanced Aerials class are assessed prior to being encouraged to join, this class focuses on refining those skills learnt within the intermediary class.

In this aerials specialty class you further your intermediate skills in all aerialistics, such as: silks, aerial ring, trapeze, rope, net and straps.

This class is a great pathway towards the Senior Troupe and is loads of fun where training hard is expected! 

Participants must apply for and be successful in an audition process. This class is dedicated to perfecting performance skills and putting together routines in preparation for public performance.

The Junior Troupe are encouraged to create their own acts, which will lead participants towards group performances within community and festival settings.

Participants must apply for and be successful in an audition process. This class is dedicated to perfecting performance skills and putting together routines in preparation for public performance. Although this class is loads of fun if you like training hard, professionalism is expected. The performance troupe are encouraged to create their own acts, and to be dedicated members in group performances for community, festival and corporate settings.
